The ECIC’s Policy Section works to improve faculty, practitioner, and student understanding of the injury policymaking process and builds faculty capacity for conducting policy research. Over the next five years, this section will offer policy-related activities, such as daylong courses on applied policy analysis and training for affiliated faculty on how to conduct policy research. Additionally, ECIC will be disseminating policy briefs that summarize key research findings and sending summaries of the state legislative activity related to injury prevention.
