Art Kellermann wins prestigious award - August 12th, 2008
Dr. Art Kellermann, founding director of the Center, has been selected to receive the 2008 Award of Honor by the Emory Medical Alumni Association. The award will be presented at the Medical School Homecoming on September 26, 2008.
The next Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research Conference, "From Discovery to Practice: Innovative Translational Approaches to Injury Prevention and Care", will be held on March 5 and 6, 2009 with a pre-day conference on March 4. This year's meeting will be cohosted in Atlanta, Georgia by the Emory Center for Injury Control and the CDC National Center for Injury Prevention and Control.
