Community Engagement Committee

The purpose of this committee is to promote linkages with the community; this committee includes leaders and practitioners who work in metro Atlanta and throughout Georgia. Health district representatives and the heads or representatives of key injury-related non-profit organizations also serve on this committee. In the spirit of community-based participatory model and promoting the research to practice link, the CEC meets bi-annually to provide input into creating a research and knowledge translation agenda that is relevant and useful to local communities. This committee is co-chaired by Dr. Griffin and Ms. Dawson, Co-Associate Directors for Outreach and Technical Assistance.
